Our modular mapmaking packs are a quick and easy way to get your adventurers started on the right path, so to speak – they are a great addition to your digital games and you can print them out for a quick in-person session. But with time and effort you can take our maps to the next dimension – the third dimension – as Kim Forsell shows us.
The comics fandom lost an unquestioned legend this week when Stan Lee, cornerstone of the Marvel Universe, passed away Nov. 12 at the age of 95.
Since comics could be considered a “gateway” to the world of tabletop role-playing, we know his passing would hit hard to many of our gamer friends all over the world.
Here we present a selection of tributes posted on social media this week.
What would make for a “legendary” game room? It’s got to be a mixture of elements that makes all five senses come to life. Sound, imagery, touch, scents and yes, even your sense of taste must all come together to make for memorable game nights.
The following are some ideas that could inspire you to do a game-room renovation!
Some kids wanted to take their Fisher-Price Little People on a trip to the car wash or to a McDonald’s. Others would put Barbie up in her Dream House. Still others wanted to imprison a handful of heroes into a draconic head-shaped labyrinth. For the latter, there was “Fortress of Fangs.”
Earlier this year we asked for some help in sprucing up the LoreSmyth logo. As we grow as a company we feel it’s important to look as professional as we aspire to be!
Let’s meet the man who helped us look our best – Dan Simon. The following is his story, in his own words, about his role in co-creating our finished logo and what he does as an artist.
The gears have been turning here at the LoreSmyth factory, and we’re excited about the upcoming release of our newest innovation: Dungeon Discoveries – card decks designed to enhance the loot-finding experience in your next game session!
With just hours remaining in our Kickstarter, we turned to the Head Smyth, Chris van der Linden, and asked him just a few questions about how Dungeon Discoveries came to be.
With one week to go before our Kickstarter ends, we want to reveal the theme of our third Dungeon Discoveries card deck!
Engineered as an entry-level game to ease budding RPG’ers into the tabletop role-playing universe, “DragonStrike” lives on primarily as an exhibit of bemusement.
