Happy new year again, how has your first bite at 2019 been? I wanted to give you an update on something that has been in the works for a couple of months now.
The current Loresmyth website I have made myself, using WordPress and a ton of plugins to get a sort of working e-commerce solution. It served me well in the first years, but lately more and more of you started to complain about troubles registering, logging in, purchasing and things like getting wrong emails or emails 3 times in a row… high time for a revamp!
Of course, we’re in the business of tabletop role-playing games, so our resolution ideas pertain more to that side of things. Perhaps you’re a seasoned Game Master but would like to open your horizons to new ideas. Maybe you’re an intermediate GM but could brush up on your rules, races, classes and the like.
Or, like me, you’ve never chaired a game in your life and are being hounded by your friends and DND-playing loved ones on a weekly basis – “go on, run a game, you’ll love it!” – and are caving in to their pesterences!
So… how do we make ourselves a better GM?
If your adventuring party is going on a pub crawl or kipping down after a tough fight, you’ll want to make sure the drink menu suits the scene well. Here’s a selection of drinks pulled from the pages of “Remarkable Inns” – complete with homespun recipes (or create your own!) in case you fancy bringing a realistic touch to the gaming table!
As we discussed in Part I, a dream game room is one that would tantalize all the senses. We talked about the sights and textures of an epic game room – mood lightning, comfortable in-the-round seating, and the focal point of your room, the gaming table.
This time we’re talking about the rest of your senses – taste, scent and sound.
