Loresmyth Is Hiring Writers and a Junior Social Media/Support Manager!

Loresmyth is growing rapidly! With several successful product lines and multiple new products in development every year, we are looking to expand our team with fresh talent. If you are passionate about roleplaying games and would love to work at a vibrant startup company that’s making waves, keep reading!

Freelance (Semi) Professional Writers

To handle our ambitious, multi-project timelines (including additional books in our “Remarkable” series and the newly Kickstarted Wondrous Expeditions: Forests), we are looking for talented RPG writers, especially those with experience writing D&D adventures and supplements/sourcebooks.

The ideal candidate will have several published works under their belt, be pleasant to work with, and can reliably meet deadlines. Additional details include:

  • This is a freelance position, working on a per-project basis
  • This is a remote position, with payment per word based on experience
  • Multiple projects per year are available (3-6 months lead time per book)

If you think your writing style matches up with our products, please send us 1) a motivation letter and 2) 1-2 of the best samples of your work in PDF format (see below for contact details).

Due to the high volume of candidates, we will only reply to those who we select for follow-up.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic person to handle our growing social media channels, customer support, and email newsletter content, including the Loresmyth Facebook and Twitter pages.

  • Experience in dealing with (email) customer communication in a support capacity
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on creating a positive customer experience
  • Experience with Buffer or other social media scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with WordPress as a publishing platform
  • Familiarity with MailChimp or other email newsletter software (optional)
  • Strongly knowledgeable and passionate about roleplaying games, such as D&D (as player or game master)
  • Have a sense of humor and kindness (fun personality is a plus, but not a big ego)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

This position is remote, with flexible hours. Pay is commensurate with experience. Starts at 10 hours per week. The tentative starting date can be as early as November 1st. You will be reporting to the current Loresmyth Editor, Christopher Mahon (based in New York, USA).
